Mahfam: The Cursed Village

A psychological horror experience set in a remote region of Iran, where exploration becomes a path to a dark, unsettling truth. The atmosphere is thick with dread as you move through a village that feels distinctly abnormal, and fear quietly tightens its grip as you piece together clues from the environment.

The story draws on real events from the 1970s. In eight nearby villages near Kuhbanan, eighteen children vanish in a single night. Two of the rescued children are found close to Mahfam, a village whispered to harbor something beyond understanding. Their terrifying testimonies speak of a place inhabited by supernatural forces, where ordinary rules collapse and danger emerges from the silence.

You step into the role of Farsid, a photographer drawn into the village’s mystery. Your goal is to uncover the truth behind the disappearances by following subtle clues scattered through the landscapes and abandoned spaces. Every doorway, every flicker of light, and every sound becomes part of a larger puzzle to solve.
