HexSwarm: Hostile Worlds is a cooperative strategy board game for 2–6 players. You and your crew must work together to colonize a hostile alien planet while surviving an endless swarm of invaders. Build a capable economy, deploy advanced mechs, and push back the threat as you expand your foothold on an unforgiving world.

Each playthrough uses a uniquely generated map with a central settlement to start from. Every turn you draw Trapezoid-Shaped Tiles to place, creating asymmetrical terrain that shapes both your plans and the enemy’s approach. These irregular tiles drive unique, challenging, and highly replayable experiences as you clear bugs and rocks, remove hives, and construct mines, labs, and turrets to sustain growth and defense. Keep the power flowing with plants that keep everything running as you push deeper into hostile territory.

Choose a role from seven unique specialists, each bringing distinctive mech art and pilot systems that define your strategy. Synergize with your teammates to cover both economy and frontline defense while adapting to changing threats on the map.

• Analyst — defense-focused and adaptive. Cycle cards for cheap options and provide extra protection to base structures, helping the team weather pressure.
• Biologist — science-driven. Ensures access to tech and accelerates research so the team can afford powerful upgrades.
• Constructor — economy-minded builder. Remote, cheap construction boosts your growth and keeps your base expanding efficiently.
• Excavator — resource extractor. Converts raw materials into major gains, driving the economy from the other side of the ledger.
• Exterminator — expert at removing threats. Dominates the action economy for bug-clearing and can perform secondary actions to maintain tempo.
• Frontliner — relentless on the front. Superior mobility and security enable you to hold lines under heavy fire and prevent encirclements.
• Siegemaster — master of complex situations. A rule-breaker who can affect tiles you aren’t on, removing bugs from hard-to-reach places and bending the board to your advantage.
