The land once ruled by Ma’at—the true harmony of the cosmos—faces Isfet, chaos that threatens lives beyond the afterworld, Duat. Your mission is to restore unity and restore the gods’ favor by leading your people toward disciplined greatness.

Grand Goal: Build the Great Pyramid. This is not a single monument, but a monumental process. You oversee every stage—from gathering resources to placing each stone. Watch the project unfold, learn its scale, and steer it to completion that could redefine your civilization and repair its link to the divine.

Resources and Building. Resources are the lifeblood of Lands of Ma'at. The challenge is to convert chaotic movement into an orderly, efficient system. Create roads, forge trade and production networks, analyze routes, and plug weak points. A well-run transportation web reduces effort, frees up energy for growth, and opens new opportunities for expansion.

World and Exploration. The game unfolds on a vast, procedurally generated map that offers complete freedom of construction. Place buildings exactly where you envision them—integrate temples, markets, and housing into the land, lay roads, and shape residential districts. Regions are often abandoned or dangerous, so you decide where to spread influence, found new cities, and connect wild lands through trade routes.

Expeditions invite you to explore new territories, discover rare resources, and recover long-lost knowledge essential for more ambitious projects. Population grows organically: you define a city’s foundation with key structures—markets, main streets, temples, and recreation—and let life fill in around them.

Religion and Zeal. Great construction requires Zeal and faith. Religion shapes social unity and the ability to act as one. Maintain Zeal through development, ceremonies, and stability, guiding your people toward wonders that endure for millennia.

Observing daily life is part of the craft: from a bird’s-eye view to intimate close-ups, you witness people work, trade, and live within the orderly world you design. Your leadership, from foundations to grand monuments, determines whether Egypt returns to Ma’at or remains lost to chaos.
