Visitors — Game Description

Visitors is a tense survival-action game centered on Rachel, a woman driving home after a long, exhausting day. Her pickup breaks down in the blistering desert near a U.S. Air Force base in Nevada. In that remote wasteland, unknown alien lifeforms roam and begin to hunt her. With no obvious escape, she must fight to stay alive, facing escalating dangers at every turn.

The experience blends portable arcade energy with the feel of classic video game eras. Visitors draws heavy inspiration from arcade machines and the home consoles of the late 1970s and 1980s, delivering a retro vibe that emphasizes fast-paced combat, strategic movement, and relentless action as the threat closes in.

Combat is built around using weapons found along the way, letting Rachel confront a variety of extraterrestrials. Each encounter tests reflexes and resourcefulness, requiring careful targeting, timing, and weapon management to survive the desert’s hostile environment.

There are three distinct game modes, offering different paths through the peril:

• Main (Nonlinear) — explore and fight through open-ended objectives, making choices that influence how the story and danger unfold.
• Survivor Mode — push to endure and rack up points under pressure, focusing on keeping Rachel alive as long as possible.
• Horde Mode — face wave after wave of enemies in a relentless challenge against increasing odds.

Players can switch between these modes by pressing the F2 key, while F1 provides a quick way to reset the game. The pause menu offers two shader options to tailor the visual style to taste or performance.

Score tracking adds a competitive edge: after a Game Over, you must enter a name on the scoreboard to save your points and compare with others. Visitors combines a compact, arcade-inspired design with modern scoring and mode variety to deliver a compact but replayable survival experience.
