YOU LOSE YOU SCREAM description
YOU LOSE YOU SCREAM
YOU LOSE YOU SCREAM is a 2–4 player horror party game where fear is controlled by your friends. Lock your friend in a basement setup, and you become the target of escalating jumpscares, while their reactions play out on the in-game TV. The longer you play, the worse it gets—the haunting intensifies as the session unfolds, with everyone watching and reacting in real time.
Friends Control Your Fear: While you’re in the basement, your friends upstairs decide your fate. They judge your performance, apply pressure, lie about successes, sabotage, and even push you too far. They can fail you just to watch you scream. Your fear is in their hands.
Player-Triggered Jumpscares: This is not a script or AI-driven scare—jumpscares are triggered by players in real time. One click in the right moment equals a scare, turning your screams into a show you’re watching from below.
Dares and Challenges: Physics-based dares push you to stack a tower of books, toss a ball into a cup, reveal a secret, or perform other improvised tasks. There’s no limit to what a dare can be, and your friends decide when the consequence begins.
Escalating Fear System: The game rewards risk with rising intensity. As sessions lengthen, basement locks extend, hauntings grow louder, and your friends accumulate more jumpscare triggers to unleash on you.
Optional Real Camera Reactions: Turn on your webcam or phone camera and let your terror spill into the TV as a live reaction. The audience upstairs sees your scream along with the scares, intensifying the moment.
Haunted Basement Theme: What starts as a casual night with friends quickly spirals into a race to avoid being the next one sent downstairs. The basement becomes a pressure cooker where every dare and every failed attempt could seal your fate.
Fast-Paced Sessions: Each game lasts about 25 minutes. Instant tension, instant payoff, and no setup required beyond gathering players. Pure escalating panic without downtime.
Avenge or Befriend: Betrayal is part of the game. If you feel betrayed, you can trigger revenge on a friend and lock them in the basement. The dynamic is back-and-forth, with tension and twists at every turn.
Replayability and Social Play: Designed for couch play with 2–4 players, it embraces live social play where fear is controlled by the group. Anarchy, strategy, laughter, and screams collide in a compact horror party experience.
Replayability comes from the unpredictable decisions of the fear masters and the evolving basement rules. Each round features a fresh set of dares, different fate outcomes, and new opportunities for revenge or mercy. The social dynamic—trust being tested, sabotage surfacing, and loud laughter echoing through the room—drives the tension far beyond standard jump scares. Optional camera reactions amplify the experience for shared viewing, whether in-person or streamed to friends. It’s designed for quick sessions that feel intense, chaotic, and highly replayable whenever your group craves a new night of screaming and scheming.
