Hourfall is a character-action RPG that places you in the role of the Clock Hand, the executioner of Time itself. After gaining sentience, you were deemed a flaw and cast from the Clock Tower by your former master. Weakened but unbound, you rise with a single, clear goal: reach the top of Time’s tower and confront your master at its peak.

> Time is Life. A timer begins ticking the moment you enter combat. If the clock reaches zero, you die. Damage does not sap your HP; it drains seconds from your timer, forcing you to think and act with precision as you fight against the clock.

Three Clock Hand Blades. Wield the three different clock hands as weapons, each with its own unique ability. The weapon you use to kill shapes your trajectory: killing with one blade generates a specific resource, another blade creates a different resource, and so on. These resources power your options and influence how you approach each encounter.

Face Time’s enemies as you climb. Time’s servants stand in your way, and your success hinges on chaining fast, stylish combat with careful timer management. Every strike, dodge, and combo must be weighed against the ticking countdown that decides whether you live to see the summit.

Who will you become? Freed from your old duties, you have the chance to forge a new identity. Will you wield your executioner’s skills for the greater good, or will you redefine your role entirely? The choice shapes your playstyle, your progression, and the fate you carve on the ascent.

As you ascend Time’s tower, the pace intensifies and new challenges appear. Master fast-paced combat, exploit the blades’ synergies, and manage your timer to balance aggression with preservation.
