Trail & Error is a chaotic co-op survival game designed for 1–4 players. Poor decisions, bad luck, and questionable teamwork are as dangerous as the trail itself. Journey together across an unknown frontier, juggle scarce supplies, and push your luck while trying not to abandon your friends when things go wrong. The goal is simple but deadly: reach the end of the trail alive, preferably with your crew intact and your sense of humor intact too.

Each run is a shared expedition filled with dynamic events, environmental hazards, and tough, often ridiculous choices. Food runs low, illness spreads through the group, weather turns hostile, and a broken wagon can strike at the worst possible moment. When disaster hits, you must improvise, cooperate, and decide who will take the risk, who will sacrifice, and who will yell the loudest—because in Trail & Error, how you handle failure matters as much as whether you survive.

Physics-based chaos drives movement and interaction. Haul supplies with a physics-driven wagon, navigate uneven terrain, and cope with hazardous environments where plans collapse into chaos just as you start to celebrate. The physics can complicate tasks without necessarily killing you, turning everyday chores into new puzzles and comedy. Expect moments where a toppled wheel, a shifting load, or a slippery slope forces you to rethink your route, retie a harness, or improvise a workaround on the spot.

Talk It Out (or Yell About It): proximity voice chat makes cooperation essential even when things fall apart. Callouts become frantic, ideas are dubious, and arguments feel all too familiar, but the banter is part of the experience. Clear communication, quick thinking, and a willingness to adapt are the real keys to survival.
