Your core responsibility is to infiltrate sites of paranormal outbreaks and neutralize the eerie, terrifying origins that threaten both the shelter and the world above.

As you enter anomaly zones, you are granted a Crimson Inscription—a set of tasks that must be pursued with utmost priority. Complete its goals to avert horrifying consequences that loom over you, your crew, and the fragile balance you’re trying to maintain.

• Form a team with companions for safety in hostile zones, though teamwork can bring as much chaos as security.
• Return loot and resources to the shelter to upgrade infrastructure, sharpen gear and weapons, and boost efficiency for future Crimson Inscription missions.
• Capture supernatural entities and imprison them in specialized containment devices. If you choose, assign them as laborers to support shelter operations and research.

The loop blends stealth, strategy, and urgency as you weigh risk against reward. Manage your supplies, recruit the right allies, and decide how imprisoned entities are used—whether to guard, power daily shelter needs, or advance your research. The shelter evolves as you progress, unlocking stronger containment, advanced gear, and faster responses to escalating outbreaks.
