HAKOTOREE is a fast-paced, box-based action game where you control a Hakorobo, a quirky robot living in a world built from boxes. The core combat revolves around box interactions: grab a box, swing it, and smash it into your opponent to deal damage. The action is simple and intuitive, designed so players of all skill levels can jump in and enjoy the rhythm of box-based battles.

In single-player, you travel through stages that introduce and master a wide range of box actions. Each stage challenges your timing, positioning, and reflexes as you clear the course against AI opponents. By completing the single-player path, you naturally become proficient at controlling the Hakorobo and ready for online combat.

Story

In the distant Talos Realm, a corner of virtual space, Hakorobo dwell in a state of effortless, eternal time. A mysterious computer virus erupts, infecting the Hakorobo and erasing their sense of self. They are destined to be sent into the real world as soldiers. A carefree Hakorobo narrowly avoids infection and sets out to find the Reset Switch deep within the world to save everyone from crisis.

Online Multiplayer

Online play unlocks after completing Stage 1. In competitive matches, players split into Blue Team and Red Team and race to capture boxes and rack up points. The box-based combat remains approachable, yet it rewards strategy and timing when facing real opponents.

Modes

Beyond the main stages, HAKOTOREE offers Battle Royale after finishing all single-player content. In this high-stakes free-for-all, many players wield the same box-centric moves to outmaneuver rivals and be the last Hakorobo standing.
