The core loop is simple and relaxing: nurture your garden, attract Goobers, and expand your collection. Each Goober you meet becomes a permanent resident of your garden, waiting to be discovered again in future sessions. The game encourages patient exploration—it’s like watching nature and searching for the rarest species.

In addition to the standard tiers, there is 1 extremely rare Anomaly Goober to collect. Each tier represents a different level of rarity, with the Cosmic line offering a smaller pool and the Anomaly representing a singular, standout find.

Your Goobers stay with you permanently in your garden. The progress is saved when you exit the game properly, using the Escape key. This ensures your garden, your Goobers, and your growing collection are preserved for the next session.

How you play matters. Petting and caring for your Goober collection, along with planting exotic flowers, can improve your odds of encountering rarer Goobers. Yet keep in mind that any Goober can appear at any moment—progress feels earned, but surprises can still happen.
