Don’t Blow It description

DON'T BLOW IT — Game Description

DON'T BLOW IT is a cooperative third‑person shooter adventure for 1–4 players that blends exploration, parkour, and strategy. Your mission is to descend into the core of a living planet, harness its energy, and save your home world. The journey emphasizes teamwork, precision movement, and careful resource management as you navigate dangerous environments.

Core Mechanic: Sound as the World

In this adventure, sound is not just communication—it is the primary tool. Proximity‑based voice chat lets you generate powerful sound waves when you yell or scream. Use these waves to perform actions: leap across gaps, push or move physical objects, and interact with the surroundings. Timing is everything; a well‑placed shout can clear a challenging obstacle, while a misplaced scream might send a teammate flying off course. Mastery of your voice becomes a vital gameplay resource.

The Living Planet

The planet is a vast, evolving structure with its own ecosystem and perils. You descend through seven distinct layers, each presenting different architectures, creatures, and environmental hazards. You’ll need keen observation, platforming finesse, and careful stamina management to survive. As you probe deeper, unexpected interactions with the world—driven by sound and movement—shape your progress and reveal new paths.

Co‑op Play and Survival

Teamwork is essential. The game supports online or offline play for up to four players. Checkpoints within each layer let your group resume your ascent as long as at least one player survives. If everyone falls, the journey restarts from the beginning, heightening the tension and emphasizing coordination. While shouting can be advantageous, quiet, deliberate movement often proves safest in the planet’s treacherous depths.
