Towerlings description

Towerlings

Towerlings is a tower simulation and idle strategy game set against the backdrop of a mysterious 100‑floor ascent. You are the hand of a god, watching over a growing crowd of adventurers as they climb. You do not control them directly, but you intervene at decisive moments to steer the outcome and the fate of the tower.

In this auto‑battler roguelite, combat, exploration, and party composition unfold on their own. The adventurers’ AI handles routine actions, while you step in only when it matters—choosing who to guide, when to push forward, and how to shape the flow of events on each floor.

Every choice carries weight. When an adventurer falls, they are gone for good. The loot and experience you gain from powerful monsters are finite as well, inviting strategic risk versus reward decisions: send many to secure steady progress, or elevate a few for a risky breakthrough that could redefine your ascent.

Progress is driven by Class Gates scattered through the tower, which demand specific roles or a minimum number of adventurers to pass. When you summon and arrange your party, and decide on which floors to prioritize, you face a puzzle-like choreography where every composition and sequence matters.

The game is designed to be easy to pick up but hard to stop watching. Your adventurers continue moving, fighting, and exploring even without constant input. A top‑down 3D view presents a lively procession of characters and encounters, turning the climb into a captivating spectacle as you watch progress accrue across short sessions.

Towerlings is currently in development, with content subject to change. It is available for PC (Steam) and macOS, with a demo accessible to try the core loop and progression.

Who it’s for: players who dislike frantic micromanagement but crave meaningful strategy, fans of idle experiences who want depth, and anyone who loves watching characters grow—and survive, or face a dramatic end—within a tower‑paced, ever-evolving challenge.
