Soluna Explorers: Tether Curse of Slimus description
Soluna Explorers: Tether – Curse of Slimus
Soluna Explorers: Tether – Curse of Slimus is a relaxed action RPG where you play as a Slimus bound by a mysterious curse cast by Magnolia. To break free, you raid explorer camps, track roaming adventurer parties, and uncover the truth behind the tether that traps you here. The world is alive: explorers travel in teams, talk to one another, and react to danger. You decide when to strike, when to stalk, and when to retreat.
Begin your journey as one of several Slimus classes, each offering a distinct combat style. Shape your playstyle with deep build customization featuring over 200 unique items, powerful equipment sets, and a weapon personalization system that lets you upgrade gear with rare scrolls. Each scroll grants powerful bonuses and meaningful drawbacks, occupies limited slots, and forces real strategic choices—no two weapons are ever the same.
Combat is real-time and system-driven. Abilities evolve while on cooldown, and mana governs how long you can push into the world. Factions can become allies, and monsters can be summoned to tilt the balance of power. Every run is short, highly replayable, and packed with discovery as you hunt explorers, break the curse, and seek Magnolia.
Soluna Explorers: Tether – Curse of Slimus blends dense RPG mechanics with casual pacing and is fully playable on low-end hardware. The game is in Early Access with a complete core gameplay loop and a tightly scoped world designed for rapid iteration and expansion. The current version is optimized, solid, and focused on refining combat, progression, and system interactions through real player feedback.
Development is guided by a public roadmap, with plans to grow the world through new maps, mechanics, minigames, bosses, and interlocking world systems. Updates are intended to progressively expand toward a more connected, semi-open experience. As of early 2026, a substantial portion of planned May features is already complete, including ongoing work on randomized arenas and world systems, with remaining polish and cleanup in progress.
