Shardstorm

Shardstorm is a fast‑paced horde‑survivor ARPG set in a dark fantasy world. When the Echo fell, her essence shattered into seven divine Shards—Gluttony, Envy, Pride, Greed, Wrath, Sloth, and Lust—that drifted across a wounded realm. You are the Wanderer, the only mortal who can hear their whispers. Grasp the Shards and bend their sinister powers; each shard reshapes you, offering immense strength or dangerous corruption.

Core gameplay blends relentless wave combat with deep character progression. In the Story Run, fight through endless abominations while Memory Fragments reveal the Echo’s fall and the world’s scars. Echo guardians cling to fragments of divinity, and Wrath sits at the storm’s heart. Your Shards orbit you, attack with chains, bursts, and slows, and you can upgrade them mid‑run to craft wildly unique builds.

As you grow, the Echoes take notice. When Resonance peaks, an Echo manifests—no ordinary boss, but a will awakened by your presence. Each Echo wields its own Shard(s) and drops loot tied to its nature, deepening your bond to the storm and shaping your path forward. Memory Fragments unfold organically, slowly revealing the truth behind Echoes and the world itself.

Endless onslaughts demand skillful movement, positioning, and smart build choices. Demons, shadows, necromancers, sorceresses, and other horrors pour in from every direction, drawn to the loose Shards. The Void Merchant offers rare gear and temporary blessings to tilt the tide in your favor.

Astral powers and ascension — Survive the storm to earn Astral Wounds, divine blessings that permanently alter your powers. Nine unique Wounds exist, each a scar left by the Shards, delivering massive gameplay changes through mastery rather than luck. Then ascend with Astral Ascension, unlocking up to 250 levels across five celestial paths:

• Path of Resonance — deepen your bond with Shards, amplify their power, unlock stronger synergies.
• Path of Fracture — strengthen Astral Wounds, transform scars into deeper power.
• Path of Endurance — boost resilience, sustain, and defensive strength.
• Path of Fate — increase resource gain, pickup efficiency, and rewards.
• Path of Mastery — sharpen combat techniques for greater impact.

New Game+ and endless cycles keep the storm rolling. Defeating Wrath awakens a New Game+ instance; each victory unlocks a harder cycle (New Game+1, New Game+2, and beyond). Enemies scale, builds tighten, and the storm never ends, with global leaderboards tracking your rise.

Game modes give you instant action and strict challenges: Custom Run lets you start from any unlocked wave on any map with any Shard and Loadout; Daily Run offers a fixed seed, shard, and map for one daily attempt with no Astral Wounds, Ascension, or equipment; Hardcore Mode tests ultimate mastery with one life and fierce leaderboards.
