Rolling Rogue is a party-based roguelike where dice are the core of every choice. Create, modify, and manage a deck of dice that drives your character, your gear, and your abilities.

In this game, dice are not just luck—they are your toolkit. You can craft new dice, customize their faces, add them to your deck, and use them to upgrade equipment or alter abilities. The outcome of each action is determined by the faces that appear, including numbers, multipliers, and a range of simple and complex effects.

Explore dungeons filled with rooms across diverse biomes. Fight cunning enemies, solve puzzles, and encounter friendly NPCs. Companions are ready to join your party, and you can field up to four heroes at once. You can also embark on solo runs if you prefer.

All abilities draw from a character’s dice deck, with dice lined up at the start of the action queue. This design lets you produce different effects from the same skills. You can add new dice, remove unwanted ones, shuffle the deck, and retrieve cards from the discard pile to tailor your strategy. Upgrading dice with stickers enhances faces, adds special effects, changes their shapes, or creates wild, synergistic combos.

Strategic control extends to item slots as well: you can insert specific dice into empty item slots so you always use a chosen die when activating an ability, instead of relying on random draws from the deck. Monsters follow the same dice-driven rules, and many wield unique dice you’ll want to steal for your own use.

Progression blends run-based progression with persistent growth. Finishing a run converts gathered items into gold, spent in the sanctuary on upgrades, goods, and features. As you advance the story and push deeper into the dungeon, new characters unlock. Gaining experience grants them access to additional abilities, stronger equipment, and more dice to shape your strategy.
