Voraxis is a turn-based roguelike deckbuilder where your cards are your only way to navigate. You are a cosmic parasite tunneling through a living, breathing world, harvesting pulsing resources before it recognizes you as a threat and consumes you. Every move you make is a decision that carves your path through a grid that keeps mutating beneath your probes.

Movement is strategy here. Each card played determines how you carve corridors, twist through tunnels, and reveal new routes. There are no traditional “attack” cards—your deck is the drill, and the grid changes with every draw. The path you choose to follow shapes the world around you and dictates what resources you can extract before time runs out.

Evolve or Be Digested. The planet mutates as you mine, and you must evolve your approach to survive. Customize your deck with Evolutions and Mutators that enable wild run‑to‑run builds. Turn a simple “Move Left” card into a terrain‑shattering explosion, or a resource‑vacuuming tool that drags scattered minerals toward your path. Each run offers new combinations, encouraging experimentation and risk.

Death is Just a Nutrient. Failure is part of the cycle. When you are consumed, you don’t merely reset—you unlock new cards, craft more powerful mutators, and discover evolutions that shift the balance of future attempts. Progress comes from learning the mutating world and how your deck can bend it to your will.
