Combat is a twisting take on turn-based tactics: you are alone against swarms, and your only weapon is the power to hijack a cyborg mind and borrow its abilities. When you seize a unit, its skills become yours. By chaining hijacks, you weave a growing toolkit of powers, and by using the map to your advantage, you bend the battlefield to your will.

The campaign unfolds on a branching map filled with increasingly dangerous encounters as you push toward a core you must reach and dismantle. Along the way you’ll face a final boss that cannot be hijacked, a hurdle that anchors the cycle of runs and sets a definitive challenge beyond the reach of your parasite’s powers.

Between runs, the parasite evolves. You unlock permanent mutations and new abilities that reshape how hijacking, control, and survival work. Each new evolution reshapes your approach, opening fresh strategies and forcing you to rethink how you bend the system to your advantage.

As mastery grows, you can activate mutators that alter enemy behavior, strengthening and sharpening their threats. The result is a game that rewards adaptation over memorization, with every run demanding a new plan and a sharper edge to survive the next onslaught.
