The world has come to an end and only scraps of humanity remain. Your path can lead you to heaven, or you can endure the shadow of humanity and push forward through the desolate landscape.

Gameplay

Scandere drops you into tight, fast action where you must move quickly, dodge enemies and incoming projectiles, stomp foes, and even launch grenades to clear a crowd. The core movement is simple to learn but hard to master, demanding precise timing and quick reflexes as you chain through dangerous sections.

• Items change how your run unfolds. Some runs feel blessed with strong items, while others require careful planning and risk management.
• To achieve more consistently good runs, you must account for every decision—movement, item pickups, and approach to danger.

Difficulty management

The main twist is that you control the difficulty of your run. Sometimes advancing means taking calculated risks or prioritizing scarce resources. Each risk comes with potential costs in the form of curses that can quickly overwhelm you, so you must balance danger and reward in real time.

Encounter seven unique enemies in this build, each with distinct patterns and threats. That number will grow as the game evolves, adding new challenges to your run.
