Rockhounds is a 1-4 player co-op extraction ARPG that throws ruthless mercenaries into volatile worlds against the galaxy’s greediest Megacorps. You are a Rockhound: a merc hired to raid dangerous planets for Space Coal—the universe’s most absurdly valuable fuel. As Megacorps grow hungrier for profit, they’ll pay anything to secure their stash, even if it means sending you into the harshest environments discovered. While others crumble, you focus on one thing: getting rich.

Every day is a payday. No two drops are the same: each contract is fresh, with new dangers, alien biomes to strip-mine, and a massive paycheck waiting at the end. Expect unpredictable weather, shifting terrain, and dangerous anomalies that demand quick thinking and teamwork if you want to survive—and cash out in style.

The Space Coal Rush sits at the center of every mission. Mine the universe’s most valuable resource as you push your luck and push your limits. The more coal you haul, the bigger the reward, but the noise will draw hungry creatures and rival forces right to your doorstep.

Guns, lots of guns. Use your earnings to upgrade with the latest weapons and gear from the Megacorp catalog. If you’re going to risk your life, you might as well wield the biggest guns available—and tailor your kit to your playstyle.

How you get paid goes beyond the initial drop. Your job is to bring coal into orbit, but you’ll need more than brute force. Gather surface-ores to build and reinforce a derelict mining rig into a fortress. Place walls, turrets, and traps, and coordinate with your squad to turn the rig into a kill zone. When the first wave arrives, there’s no room for mistakes.

As the mission heats up, the rig takes hits. You’ll sometimes have to leave the safety of your walls to repair or chase high-risk side objectives that boost your yield. It’s dangerous, but the payoff can be worth it — if you survive.

When the silo fills, you face a choice: launch the payload into orbit and call it a day, or press your luck and dig deeper for more. Greed is a dangerous path—one mistake can lose the entire haul. Securing Space Coal is only half the battle; you must also endure the planet’s collapse and ride the airlift back to your ship to collect your credits.

Gather your squad and prepare for action. Rockhounds supports 4-player co-op, with scalable challenges for solo players. Level up your merc, choose your class, customize your loadout, and build the legendary Rockhound who can outpace the greed of the megacorps.
