Racing Balls description
Racing Balls
Racing Balls is a fast-paced, top-down arcade racer built around rhythm, clean lines, and split-second decisions. Drift through tight lanes, time boosts, and survive a gauntlet of dynamic hazards like spinning paddles, bumpers, flippers, and speed traps. Every lap rewards precision and control, whether you’re battling AI in a full Championship or chasing a perfect time in Time Trial.
Key Modes
- Championship: 24 official tracks to unlock. Progression follows a round of qualifying and finals on each track. Q1 and Q2 determine advancement, and winning the final unlocks the next track. Clear all tracks to reach the Hall of Fame.
- Time Trial: Solo laps against the clock. Chase official or community-made records using the Track Explorer.
- Single Race: Jump straight into an unlocked official track with no progression or qualifiers.
- Spectate: Watch a race from different viewpoints, swapping between the leader and the driver camera.
Gameplay & Track Design
The game features physics-based handling with drift, boost, and shield tactics. Tracks are built for rhythm: read the flow, time your moves, and aim for the perfect lap.
Tracks flow through 3 to 5 laps and are lined with rotating paddles, triangles, bumpers, squares, tilt bars, spinners, and moving platforms. Trackside terrain uses shapes like triangles, half-circles, and trapezoids to form lanes, edges, and shortcuts. Walls and curbs keep you in-bounds while encouraging precise line choices.
Pit stops restore health and let you relaunch back onto the track. Push-to-pass zones provide short acceleration bursts to gain an edge when it matters most.
Progress, Records and Community
Official races and time trials feed global leaderboards, XP, and track records. Your activity is logged locally as a quick history of recent races, with Hall of Fame reserved for those who complete all official tracks.
Track records are updated when a new best time emerges. Global standings are organized by world, continent, and country, and verified results drive teams and driver rankings as they stream in.
Track Editor & Explorer
Build, test, and share your own circuits with the Track Editor. Place obstacles, tune difficulty, and publish public tracks for others to race.
The Explorer lets you browse community tracks, race against AI, or set a personal time trial on user-made layouts. Try to set a new track record on a community course and compete for a spot on the global boards.
