Caution! Platforming Ahead is a retro-inspired platformer set in a strange dimension. You play as Platformo, the elite light-being whose thirst for speed is challenged when Fringe’s cursed hourglass drags him into a deadly obstacle course. Navigate 20 distinct scenes, master a precision moveset, and seek exits guarded by keys, all while uncovering a story that bookends the arcade challenge.

Platformo’s Moves

Move through the dimension with Walk and Run, using precise Jump timing and a signature P-Jump that enables a double jump by leveraging ledges. Master Wall Jump and Wall Slide to reach hidden paths, then trigger Platformo’sSpecial ability—a burst that turns him into an exclamation-point vehicle for blazing through sections and reaching otherwise inaccessible areas. While in this form, a Special Jump expands your reach and unlocks safe passage through tougher segments.

Obstacles and Challenge

Expect a diverse range of hazards: Mimics (ground, air, pillar, Archer), spikes, pits, springs, and four varieties of moving platforms. Beware of imploding blocks, slippery surfaces, and disappearing blocks that demand careful timing. The game rewards patience and creative route finding as you string together runs, jumps, slides, and the exclamation-speed bursts.

Modes and Progress

• Arcade Mode: Start with 3 lives, complete all 20 scenes, and have progress saved in the main menu. Completing Arcade unlocks secret characters, achievements, and the true ending.
• Practice Mode: Infinite lives to explore mechanics, practice routes, and enjoy a shorter ending with a participation ribbon.

Progression and Rewards

• 8 keys unlock each scene’s exit; 3 popcorn kernels per scene unlock optional rewards; a 1up can be found in every scene to extend lifeline beyond the starting three lives.
• One continue is available per playthrough, usable to resume from Scene 11.
