Drift Quest description

Drift Quest

Drift Quest is a dark medieval fantasy idle RPG where your hero fights, loots, and conquers dungeons — while you do literally anything else. Inspired by Progress Quest, this is the RPG that plays itself — because your time is worth more than countless clicks.

Create your hero from 7 distinct classes, each with their own personality—from the Berserker who asks questions later to the Warlock who doesn’t ask at all—and join 9 diverse races beyond humans to find your place in a sprawling world.

The game generates 1,500 missions so your hero always has work to do, and over 1,000 acts of epic story you can experience without reading a novel—though you may if you want to. Your hero will cast 177 spells automatically as you watch the action unfold, even while you’re busy with other things.

Equipment is diverse and expansive: your hero has 16 slots to fill with 461 unique pieces, including head, neck, shoulders, back, chest, bracers, gloves, pants, boots, two rings, arrows, melee weapon, shield, ranged weapon, and wand. Yes, you can carry a sword, a bow, and a wand at the same time.

Beyond raw power, Drift Quest spoils you with 441 different items—mysterious bones, glowing flowers, gems, herbs, questionable meats, hallucinogenic mushrooms for potions, and more—ensuring a quirky, endlessly varied loot loop.

  • Truly idle: leave it running in the background while you work or study.
  • 80 achievements for completionists who crave a goal night after night.
  • Global ranking to see who has the most powerful hero without lifting a finger.
  • Cloud save so your progress follows you to any PC.
  • 30 languages for players around the world.

Who is Drift Quest for? For players who loved RPGs but now have adult responsibilities; for those who want to see numbers rise without sacrificing mental health; for Progress Quest nostalgics who want a modern idle RPG with nostalgic vibes; and for anyone who enjoys a dramatic fantasy world left to run in the background.

Pricing is simple: $4.99 as a single payment. No microtransactions, no stores, no ads, and no pay-to-win mechanics—your progress depends on time, not your wallet. Drift Quest is the RPG you’d play if you had time; since you don’t, it plays itself.
