After Hours description

After Hours

Survive until 6:00 AM in a cooperative asymmetric horror where one player guards the way while the rest push through a dangerous, noise-filled facility. The team must complete tasks in real time as danger closes in, cranking up pressure with every tick of the clock.

  • You are the Guy in the Chair — operate the Sentinel-OS v3.1 terminal from a security room to control the grid, cameras, doors, and lights. Every action drains power, and every decision matters.
  • Grid and Surveillance — manage a failing power generator, lock doors, monitor grainy CCTV feeds and biometric scanners, and see what the team cannot.
  • Guide the Team — use the facility map to route operatives around threats and toward objectives without wasting precious energy.
  • Distract the Monster — deploy sound lures, manipulate sprinklers, and use any available tools to keep the creature away from your teammates.
  • Manual Tasks — operatives must physically interact with wiring, crates, and keypads while staying mindful of danger.
  • Limited Visibility — trust the Guard’s calls to navigate the dark and decide when to move or hold position.
  • Proximity Chat — communication is your lifeline; staying close is key, but straying too far risks isolation and death.
  • Procedural Escalation — no two shifts are the same. Objective locations and monster spawns are randomized each night.

Each night ends with a risky choice: cash out and bank earnings, or extend the contract to return for another shift with higher pressure, more aggressive enemies, and a much higher salary. The Permadeath Economy means a wipe ends the contract with no payout.

The game blends tense teamwork with tight resource management. Build trust through clear callouts, balance risk and reward, and decide when to act—and when to stay quiet. Survive the night, secure the payout, and repeat the cycle as the mystery deepens.
