Enter the world of GBWEngine, a technical demonstration of a classic ARPG experience focused on exploration, combat, and character growth. The game emphasizes semi-open and sandbox-style levels where you can freely roam, discover, and engage in thrilling battles against a variety of monsters using an extensive set of weapons and equipment.

Core play revolves around a complete combat system that supports diverse weaponry, including swords, shields, greatswords, and bows. Players can switch between weapon sets on the fly, enabling dynamic tactics and fluid combat flow as the fight demands.

Progression in GBWEngine is built around a comprehensive ARPG attribute framework. The character possesses 52 basic attributes spanning several crucial categories:

• Consumption attributes: health, mana, fury, and endurance.
• Attack and defense attributes: multiple damage types, added damage, and resistances (physical, magical, bleeding, poison, ice, fire, electricity).
• Resistance attributes: seven dimensions such as toughness, rationality, and the same elemental resistances.
• Performance attributes: critical chance and damage, attack and movement speed, jump height, dodge distance, aerial dodges, and fall damage thresholds.
• Special states: invincibility, uninterrupted attacks, and undefendable attacks.
• Regeneration attributes: five modes for each consumption and resistance factor, allowing management of recovery per second, fixed values, or rates tied to attack damage.

An expansive inventory and store system supports seamless equipment management. Equipment slots cover left and right weapons, head, body, hands, legs, and three jewelry slots, enabling varied builds. Three weapon sets can be rapidly swapped to adapt loadouts mid-journey. Appearance equipment provides visual customization to alter the character’s basic model without changing core stats.

The action module and ability system deliver depth through weapon-based action modules and a Skill Graph for unlocking and enhancing abilities. Players can tailor their combat style by selecting modules that suit their weapon type, then grow their power through skill acquisition and improvement.

Save points and quick travel offer convenient movement between discovered locations, ensuring smooth progression across the semi-open and sandboxed environments. GBWEngine combines a robust combat core with layered progression, inviting exploration, tactical battles, and ongoing character development in a compact ARPG experience.
