Climb King description

Climb King

Climb King is a 2D pixel-art precision climbing platformer about earning height the hard way: one grab, one jump, one mistake at a time. There are no enemies in the traditional sense—the level is the enemy, and gravity is the final boss.

You won the championship, the crown should be yours, but you wake underground, chained with only one arm. Your ascent begins in an underground prison near the sewers and pushes toward a kingdom that should already be celebrating your rise.

The core of the game is simple: grab ledges, beams, and platforms with tight, responsive controls and push your limits. Precise timing and calm nerves are essential because a fall can be brutal and long—the challenge is purely traversal and execution, not combat.

How it works

Progress happens in rounds. Some sections act as relief points—until the next crucial jump decides your fate. A small slip might drop you to the last safe area, while a bigger mistake could send you all the way back to the start. The outcome depends on where you miss and how hard you miss it.

Upgrades and encounters

Find upgrades that expand how you climb, adding new options without turning the game into an easy ride. Along the way you’ll meet peculiar NPCs who may ask for favors in exchange for something else—choices that derail your path and force you to choose between shortcuts and climbing higher.

Goal

Traverse the regions of the Kingdom, survive the gauntlet of your own limits, and reach the top to claim what is yours. Climb King emphasizes patience, precision, and nerve, delivering a tense ascent where the only way forward is to keep climbing.

No enemies. No combat. Just you, the climb, and the ever-present gravity lurking as the final boss in a gritty, pixel-art world.
