Cyan Soul is a fast‑paced action‑puzzle boss‑rush game inspired by classic arcade titles such as Cuphead and Galaga. In this free demo, you play as a small, adorable ghost‑like hero navigating tight arenas, testing reflexes, precision, and strategy.
Core gameplay
- Move the ghost with WASD and use Spacebar for a quick dash that grants brief invincibility and lets you maneuver around enemies.
- You cannot pick up or dash while carrying an object, so choose your moments wisely.
- Use Spacebar again to throw objects you pick up from the stage, turning debris into projectiles or distractions for the boss.
- Score points by smashing foes and reducing the boss health. Building momentum fuels the power‑up meter.
Power‑ups and timing
- When the meter is charged, press E to unleash a powerful move.
- The first upgrade is a red orb that fires as a normal projectile dealing 10 HP damage.
- Fill the bar to maximum to unlock Cyan Fire: invincibility plus a head‑on dash into the boss for a 30 HP strike.
- Taking damage costs power‑up charge, so balance offense with defense.
Stages
- Swamp Romp: vine‑covered swamp monster, a straightforward early challenge.
- Cow-spiracy: a creepy alien abduction scenario with subtle story hints if you look closely.
- Big and Hexy: a confrontation with a big witches and her cute cat companion.
Objective and scoring
Your goal is to pick up objects around each stage and hurl them at the boss. The boss health bar sits along the bottom of the screen, so you can gauge progress toward victory. Aim for three stars, the best time, and a high score to prove your prowess.
