Survivor's Notes is a zombie survival full-motion video (FMV) game that casts players as both the male and female protagonists at the same time. Through parallel story threads, you influence outcomes with choices and a variety of quick-time events, unlocking distinct endings based on what you decide.

This is not a tale about how the apocalypse destroys the world. It is about how people choose to believe, take responsibility, and sacrifice when hope grows dim. It asks how ordinary individuals shoulder the cost of saving civilization with reason, courage, and resolve, even if the world forgets their names.

Players control both protagonists in tandem, witnessing how each choice reshapes both timelines. You’ll alternate viewpoints between Ji Xingchuan, the dream-haunted cartoonist, and Bai Yuan, a soldier from a shattered future, as memory, trust, and dignity come under strain in a city coming apart.

Story backdrop

In 2026 a sudden global zombie outbreak collapses human civilization within days. The origin remains unknown, leaving countless lives rewritten and names erased. Ji Xingchuan, a cartoonist, has year-long dreams of a post-apocalyptic world and turns them into the manga Notes of the Survivor, which unexpectedly becomes a hit—until the dreams begin to collide with reality. Meanwhile, Bai Yuan, a special forces officer from a future of 2033, travels back to 2026 to stop the disaster at its source. Her mission threatens her own existence, as success would erase both her future and the past.

When an ordinary person who dreams of the apocalypse meets a survivor from it, time, memory, and fate intertwine. You will pursue truth through the collapsing city, lose allies, and question beliefs as choices push you toward divergent paths. In the end, some characters are forgotten to set the world on track; others endure with heavy losses. The world is saved, but salvation remains a memory that the world seldom honors.
