A Cold Comfort description

A Cold Comfort

A Cold Comfort is a bleak, text-led survival tale set on a frozen sea where hope throttles with every gust of wind. It follows Amarok, a young canid, and her childhood friend Uvie as they join the expedition aboard the Nautilus, a mighty vessel led by Captain Hawley from Westaria. What begins as a straightforward mission to carve a passage through the icy Argent wastes to open a new trade route quickly spirals into a nightmare of miscalculation, frost, and dwindling courage.

The voyage falters when the ice proves impenetrable and the crew must disembark and march on foot across a sun-scorched, endless white. Illness spreads, rations shrink, and suspicions flare as the harsh environment tests every bond. In this unforgiving landscape, the line between salvation and tragedy blurs. Will Amarok and Uvie find their way home, or will the bitter cold claim them first?
