Tache Noire description

Tache Noire

Tache Noire is a non-linear exploration-based survival horror where you experience the story of five friends gathering for a reunion in the town of Lucenille. Explore at your own pace, go anywhere, and complete the game in any order as you uncover what lies beneath the town’s quiet facade.

Freedom is front and center: explore every building, meet diverse inhabitants, and push through a world that reacts to your choices. With ten hours of atmosphere-rich exploration, you’ll weave through houses, shops, and forgotten corridors, uncovering clues, rumors, and the town’s hidden past.

Combat is adaptive and cunning. Enemies respond to your actions: shoot specific parts to alter their behavior, or close doors to slow them down. Lure threats into traps to conserve ammo, then study their weaknesses to prevail. You’ll face multiple enemy types, each demanding a different approach as you balance stealth, aggression, and resource management.

Weapons feel personal and customizable. Attachments change how your gun behaves, and you can upgrade firearms at the town’s coffee shop. You’ll manually reload revolvers and shotguns, grabbing shells and sliding them into the cylinder—every reload is a deliberate choice in a world where ammunition is precious.

Clues come in two reliable forms: Rumour and Notes. If you’re stuck on a puzzle, the Rumour tab provides a concise summary of events so far. Important codes are automatically written in the Notes, ensuring you never lose the thread of critical information.

The town is alive with loot and physics-based interactivity. Loot scales with your equipment, so your choices shape what you find. Pick up objects, stack physics items, crawl through vents, and remove barricades to access new paths. The environment responds to your actions in real time, creating a tangible sense of consequence.

Your choices matter. Engage with the town’s inhabitants, decide who you will help or overlook, and trade with them to influence outcomes. Tache Noire features multiple endings built from those conversations and decisions, inviting repeat playthroughs to discover every possible conclusion.

In this compact yet rich horror adventure, you control the pace, the strategies, and the fate of Lucenille. Explore, survive, solve, and determine the ending that your actions deserve.
