At any moment you can press fire to trigger a dangerous phase. Your weapons go offline for five seconds—no guns, no shields—only evasive maneuvers. A single hit during this window cancels the charge and drains the meter. If you survive, your weapons return with a one-hit shield, and you’re free to press the charge again or pivot to new positioning.

Press fire again and time slows. You become instantly invincible, slipping through torrents of enemy fire, threading between massive hulls, and lining up a critical strike. Then the Samsara beam erupts from your ship, sweeping the battlefield and draining the meter as it rips through fleets. With progress, the beam lasts longer and hits harder, turning every encounter into a race to build the final surge.
