You are Morok, son of one of the scientists who helped develop a weapon drawn from a rare mineral—tungsten—found only within Zaslon’s depths. Your mission is to uncover what this weapon really is and who among its keepers holds it.

Zaslon is the last GULAG on Earth, now ruled by its former detainees. Three nations once resisted communist rule, but one chose a path that set it apart. Behind the veil of Zaslon, the usual laws of physics break down. A meteorite scarred the land, birthing an anomalous territory where magnets of opposite poles twist rocks and create Petryks—flying stones that whisper clues to hidden power. Local myths bleed into reality here, and one native people suffer nightmares spoken of only in legends. The key to world domination lies buried in this place, yet you cannot carry much metal; only human labor can move you forward until you unlock the truth.

Gameplay centers on five distinct weapon types, each forged by the inhabitants who now claim this domain. Four of these arms are locally produced; one is not. The arsenal serves your investigation, yet your success hinges on choices, alliances, and careful stealth. Along your path you will meet enemies who wish you harm and enigmatic beings born from legends. You will encounter cultures that, under Zaslon’s pressure, have leapt from myth into a harsh, living reality. They will reveal the central secret that binds the last GULAG to the fate of many nations.

Your task is to eliminate saboteurs, enact counter-sabotage, and help your people seize the key to genuine freedom beyond Zaslon’s walls.
