Beast Mask

Beast Mask is a 2D side-scrolling action-adventure that begins with a single click. You play as the main character who can transform into powerful beasts by collecting beast masks scattered in each level. Equipping a mask instantly changes your form and grants access to the creature’s unique abilities, letting you defeat monsters, conquer bosses, and push toward the exit. The core goal in every corridor and chamber is straightforward: overcome every foe and complete the level.

The game currently centers on a forest setting and introduces seven distinct enemy types. As development continues, more enemies and challenges are added, expanding the rhythm of encounters and requiring new strategies to survive and advance.

Four Beast Forms

• Monkey Form: quick, disdainful attacks; damage is low but extremely insulting.
• Dragon Form: defies gravity and allows free flight; close-range burst skill — Flame Explosion; long-range attack — Dragon Breath.
• Bear Form: huge, heavy, and steady; suicide-style attack — Sky-Smashing Strike; short-range blast — Thunder Roar.
• Wolf Form: moves on all fours, able to crawl through narrow spaces; dominating charge — Fang Thrust; signature flashy skill — Wolf King’s Mischievous Heart.

How to Play

The experience is built around a linear progression: meet every foe you encounter and confront the boss at the end of each level. Masks are key rewards found within stages; equipping one instantly morphs you into the corresponding beast and unlocks powerful new tactics. Use each form’s strengths to navigate combat, exploit enemy patterns, and reach the exit.

With a focus on transformation-driven combat, you’ll chain together quick strikes, long-range blasts, and devastating area effects to dismantle monsters and bosses alike. The forest environment provides varied arenas for stealthy crawls, vertical mobility, and explosive encounters, all designed to test timing and adaptability.
