WarSlice is a military turn‑based tactics game that blends base-building with retro pixel art aesthetics. Plan your moves on a strategic battlefield where careful setup and precise execution determine the outcome of every skirmish.

Choose Your Commander — Pick from more than ten Commanders, each boasting distinctive abilities that tilt battles in your favor. Commanders are drawn in a retro-inspired anime style, and new characters unlock by completing missions in the Campaign. The commander you choose shapes your tools, tactics, and approach on every map.

Build Your Base — Construct essential facilities to power your army. Build Barracks to train infantry, Factories for heavier units, and support structures to sustain operations. Each building unlocks new unit types, letting you tailor your roster to the challenges ahead.

Unit Roster and Strategy — Create a balanced force with a mix of fast Copters for reconnaissance and air support, and Titans for devastating frontline power. Combine infantry, armored units, and aerial units to exploit enemy weaknesses. Different units have strengths and counters, so positioning, timing, and synergy with your Commander are key.

Lead Your Army to Victory — Issue orders and control the battlefield from a tactile, turn‑based layer. Capture enemy properties and secure resources while defending your Nexus. Victory comes by eliminating all enemy units or destroying their Nexus, rewarding smart control of space, tempo, and attrition.

Campaign Experience — Experience a story that blends comedy with serious moments as you progress through 25+ missions. Your journey begins in the Southern Empire, where you meet Caitlin, one of the playable Commanders, and uncover evolving narrative threads across the campaign.

Progression and Unlocks — Completing missions unlocks additional Commanders and more challenging scenarios. Your playstyle, map outcomes, and mastery of base-building timing all contribute to advancing through increasingly demanding chapters.

Map Editor — Design your own maps with the built‑in Map Editor. Tweak layouts, base placements, and mission objectives to craft fresh challenges for solo play or shared matches.
