Puzzle Mage is a top-down point-and-click dark fantasy puzzle game. Step into the boots of Lyra, a young and gifted apprentice mage, as she undertakes the Rite of Ascension — an ancient and perilous trial held within the legendary Arcane Tower. Set in a richly detailed magical world, the game blends clever environmental puzzles with a deeply woven narrative about self-discovery, legacy, and the burdens of power.

Spellcasting drives every moment. Keyboard keys 1-2-3-4 activate Magical Gems, each linked to an element: Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water. Combine gems to craft countless spells, and with each new level come fresh spells to add to your arsenal. The puzzles in every dungeon revolve around these elements, and each room demands a specific spell set to manipulate the environment: move and rotate objects, unlock paths, or align mechanisms. Some spells teleport you across chambers, transmute objects, create portals, or push and pull heavy blocks. The game offers 50+ puzzle rooms that challenge your logic and timing, inviting experimentation with different spell blends and sequences to reveal hidden routes.

Beyond core spellcraft, Puzzle Mage features a variety of symbol puzzles. Different sets appear in every dungeon, including rows and columns that must be composed of non-repeating symbols, as well as orbital puzzles involving stellar objects. These challenges sit alongside elemental dungeons, providing a steady stream of fresh configurations as you advance.
