Key to the experience is a microphone detection system. Shouting, panicking, or making sudden noises directly influence the gameplay, attracting threats and tightening the tension. Stay calm, and your chances of lasting the night improve. Fail to keep your composure, and fear compounds quickly, blurring perception and pushing your team toward tragedy.
