Betrayal Banquet description

Betrayal Banquet – Description

Betrayal Banquet is a medieval themed party game built around trust, tension, and tense observation. Players take on the roles of servants at a grand royal feast, working together to prepare and serve the king’s orders accurately and on time. As the banquet unfolds, pressure rises, the kitchen grows chaotic, and every mistake can carry severe consequences. Success hinges on fast hands and careful reading of others’ motives, because at this table, not everyone is innocent.

The game blends cooperation with danger. You must act swiftly to keep the orders flowing, but you must also watch your teammates closely, discerning who to trust and who might be plotting against you. Each match crafts a fresh story of accusation, alliance, and betrayal, making every round a unique drama of strategy and social deduction.

Game Modes

Royal Kitchen – A fully cooperative mode where players can play solo or with friends to prepare royal orders together. There is no betrayal here; it’s all about time pressure, coordination, and precision. This mode offers a more relaxed yet still intense experience, focusing on teamwork and shared victories.

Crown of Deceit – The core and most intense mode. The banquet becomes a stage for a hidden scheme. Traitors hide among the servants, and every player must question who to trust. This mode introduces two distinct roles: Noble —aims for a successful banquet while safeguarding the kings. They must prepare and serve meals correctly and keep the kings alive; however, innocence alone isn’t enough, and a single false move or poorly timed action can lead to danger. Betrayer —the concealed threat who works beside others to poison the targeted kings without being discovered. Every action carries risk, and a misstep can reveal their true nature at the worst moment.

Betrayal Banquet merges humor with tension, cooperation with deceit, all at one long table. Each game creates new accusations, new stories, and new outcomes. Trust is the most valuable—and the most dangerous—resource you’ll manage as you strive to keep the feast dignified and the kings safe.
