Outpost Ginga follows an experimental research and production space station that was overwhelmed at the outset of the Automaton War. Most of the station fell to the Automatons, but a last‑moment emergency spatial jump sent the control center drifting into the void, lost among the stars. This is a spiral Tower Defence game that blends strategic defense with deep customization and powerful ultimates.

Build, upgrade, and tailor your defenses using a robust Attachments system. From the familiar gear system of CounterAttack: Uprising, you can mix and match attachments to forge millions of weapon combinations. Attach reagents to create unique effects, turning weaknesses into strengths and unleashing unconventional tactics that redefine every level.

The station’s defense can be organized around Turrets or a wing of Support Fighters. Turrets offer a classic defense core with four distinct types, each with its own balance of power and drawback:

• Blaster — high DPS and low cost, but with poor aim.
• Missile — homing and reliable, yet with significantly lower DPS.
• Laser — the highest base DPS but limited range.
• Plasma — long range and solid damage, though expensive.

Turrets can be directly upgraded to boost damage and stats, and each can be customized with Attachments to create new capabilities and tactical profiles. The attachment system supports intricate buildcraft, allowing creative, even ridiculous, combos that alter how battles unfold.

If you crave a different pace, deploy a Wing of Support Fighters. Instead of static turrets, you pilot and upgrade a fleet of spacecraft that actively defends the station, offering a dynamic alternative to turret-based play.

When the pressure peaks, unleash an Ultimate. The game features a range of devastating ultimate abilities—from barrages of homing missiles to devastating Meson Shockwaves—delivering decisive moments that can swing a level in an instant.
