Minus Nine description
Minus Nine — Game Description
Deep within a top-secret underground facility on floor B9, you have successfully developed the vaccine for a zombie virus. Immediately after, the facility is overrun by the infected. Your mission is clear: protect the vaccine and reach the rescue helicopter waiting on the surface.
Minus Nine blends classic arcade action with roguelite strategy in a survival shooter presented from a top-down isometric perspective. You’ll feel the tension of every corridor as you navigate a hostile, collapsing complex.
Your journey starts at -9F. The layout of the facility changes with procedural generation, so no two runs are the same. Use the isometric viewpoint to plan routes, corner threats, and locate hidden Generators in the dark. Only when full power is restored will the elevator gates to the next floor unlock, forcing careful pacing and decisive moves as you push deeper.
Combat is strategic and unforgiving: ammo and health are scarce. Clear the zombie hordes and extract Bio-Samples from them. Carry these samples to the Rest Area—the elevator between floors—to upgrade four core stats: Damage, Health, Ammo Capacity, and Speed. Each upgrade strengthens your chances to endure the next wave, but you’ll need to weigh risks as you advance.
Death and rebirth are part of the process. If you fall to the infected, you lose your gear and wake up back at -9F. Yet your accumulated skills and experience remain your most valuable assets, guiding you toward escape and the surface where the rescue helicopter awaits.
