THE HUNT

Undying West is a 1-4 player co-op psychological horror set in the Old West. You and your team infiltrate abandoned locations overrun by deranged robot zombies. Navigate pitch-dark interiors with only a lantern as your guide, find the terror lurking in the shadows, discover its vulnerability, and kill it to escape with a trophy before the town claims you as another casualty of the night.

Randomized Bosses

Face a randomly selected Boss each run, each with unique behaviors and a random weakness. Choose your damage type wisely—fire, shock, or concussive damage—only one will break down its armor and open the path to the kill.

Multi-stage Boss Fights

Wear down the Boss’s armor by exploiting its weakness, forcing it into a vulnerable state. The fight unfolds in stages, and armor can regenerate if you hesitate. Use every tool at your disposal and push for the final strike before time runs out.

Scavenge & Craft

Explore dark rooms with a flickering lantern to gather items, weapons, ammo, and crafting ingredients. Workbenches let you craft ammunition, specialized weapons, and essential tools that swing the odds in your favor when every bullet counts and every misstep costs precious resources.

Extraction

Defeat the Boss, claim your trophy, and sprint for your horses before the world breaks loose around you. Without a trophy, your score stays zero—your courage must deliver the proof of your victory.

SURVIVE

Atmospheric horror surrounds every creak of timber, mechanical click, and distant groan. Darkness is your constant enemy, and the eerie silence can conceal danger at every turn. Resources are scarce—ammunition, health, and crafting materials demand careful management. A single misstep can mean the difference between triumph and becoming another rumor in the desert night.

Trophy Collection: Each boss drops a random body part. Retrieve it to earn points and add it to your growing collection, a grim reminder of what you survived and what you’ve learned to fear.

PLAY STYLE

Co-op or Solo: Team up with up to three friends to strategize and survive together, or face the terror alone if you dare. Round-based gameplay delivers quick, intense sessions lasting approximately 20-40 minutes—perfect for one more round, and then another. Replayability is built in through randomized boss spawns, weaknesses, enemy types, and item locations, ensuring no two runs feel the same.
