RE:MEMBER description

SILENCE IS BLINDNESS. SOUND IS DEATH. You awaken in total darkness, vision gone, a void where memories should be. In your head an alien voice knows more than it says. RE:MEMBER is an atmospheric first‑person horror where sight is replaced by echolocation. The world you inhabit is unseen; every sound sends a wave that paints the corridors and reveals the beings that inhabit them. Your aim is to escape and reclaim your identity, but the path to truth holds shadows that threaten to redefine who you are.

How you navigate is driven by sound. Use echolocation to map the unseen: each knock, footstep, or thrown object creates a ripple that outlines walls, doors, and the shapes of your pursuers. Move quietly to stay hidden and avoid drawing attention; a soft step reveals little but keeps you on silent paths. A loud bang illuminates the room and exposes threats, but it will echo through the complex and attract attention from every predator nearby. The balance between stealth and discovery is always in your hands.

Inside you, an entity has taken residence. It grants you superhuman perception and guides you through the dark, yet its identity remains ambiguous. The voice in your head can save you or lead you into a trap. Trust it, resist it, or negotiate a fragile alliance—the choice defines how you survive and who you become.

RE:MEMBER features a smart ecosystem of horror where the enemies are blind yet deadly. They are controlled by the adaptive AI system called Stigma. They listen for the faintest rustle, and their behavior shifts with your actions. If you hide too long, they will start probing for cover. If you run, they will set ambushes. Encounters are unique: from the roaming Wanderers to exotic monsters with their own logic, all reacting to your every move, not following a fixed script.

Waking up in a laboratory chamber after a catastrophe, you find the aftermath of disaster: the bodies of staff and terrifying mutants surround you. A girl’s voice crackles over the radio, offering guidance, while a terrifying whisper threads through your mind. As you descend deeper into the complex, fragments of your past surface. Each use of echolocation changes you in small, perceptual ways, pulling you toward a decision you may not be ready to make.

RE:MEMBER is a story about fear itself: is death as a human preferable to surviving by becoming something else? Your choices, your accuracy with sound, and your willingness to trust your inner voice will shape both your escape and your fate.
