The kittens are settling into their favorite boxes for a cozy nap, and it’s up to you to fit them perfectly. NeNeKoNeko is a thoughtful puzzle game built around tiny felines and their three boxes. Master the three boxes, decide which cat goes in which box, and discover how your arrangements change the outcome with every move.

Each level asks you to place the sleepy cats efficiently. You must fill the boxes within a limited number of moves to secure a victory. When the clock runs out, don’t give up — a smart shift in strategy can turn a loss into a comeback. Timing and placement matter as you balance multiple sleepy sleepers at once.

Secret weapon: the Magic Tail. If a cat doesn’t fit neatly, use the Magic Tail to transform it into a 1‑square cat. That tiny metamorphosis can unlock new layouts and save the day, letting you continue solving the puzzle even when space is tight.

Slow and steady or fast and bold: In Normal mode you’ll learn the rhythm of fitting cats into boxes. Clear Normal to unlock Hard Mode, where even more restless sleepers appear and the challenge grows. If you prefer taking your time, the game lets you enjoy the experience at your own pace by gradually increasing the number of moves after each game over.

Compete globally: Your skills aren’t just for yourself — you can challenge players around the world and see how you rank on the global leaderboard. Your Steam profile name appears on the leaderboard, adding a bit of friendly competition to every box you fill. If you stream or post Let’s Plays, streaming is welcome and monetization is allowed. You can disable the leaderboard display in Settings if you’d rather keep your name private while sharing.
