Summon and command the undead. Create a terrifying army from skeletons, zombies, wraiths, and plague creatures. Each minion type offers different combat roles and tactics. You can craft weapons and armor for your troops, level them up, and unlock new abilities. Your minions follow your orders, whether to gather resources, defend your base, or raze a human village to the ground to feed your power and dark essence. The more you empower them, the more fearsome they become.

Reclaim power and customize your path. Consume mortal souls to restore your strength, salvage resources to forge upgrades, and learn new talents. Choose a path of progression—dark magic, archery, heavy weapons, and armor—or blend disciplines to create hybrids that suit your playstyle. Personalize your lord with a broad set of abilities that let you unleash curses, command fleets of undead, strike from afar, or crush enemies in close combat. The progression system scales with your choices, ensuring every playthrough feels distinct.

Build your dark base. The building system is flexible, offering a range of structures and workbenches. Before building, desecrate the land with Pylons of Darkness and reshape the terrain to suit a true dark lord. On desecrated zones, you and your minions grow stronger, buildings regenerate, and resources yield dark essence that powers upgrades and new minion types. Strategic placement of pylons and zones lets you control supply lines, fortify defenses, and extend your influence across conquered regions. Every victory tightens the grip of your necromantic presence, increasing the yield of dark essence and unlocking additional upgrades, minion varieties, and defense options as your realm grows darker.

Conquer the mortal realm. Wipe out human settlements, establish outposts, and claim their resources.
