MASUKU is an abstract strategy game built on clever placement and calculated risk. On your turns, you place and rotate cards onto a shared grid, revealing colors and symbols that align with the ever-changing scoring goals. A sleek, minimal art style keeps the focus on strategy while the board comes alive with shifting possibilities.
The core challenge comes from the interaction between cards, the grid, and hurdles. Players drop hurdles with holes over the grid, shaping where cards can go and which spaces score points. Each grid space contains a color and a shape; the value of that space is determined by the current active rule cards, so scoring evolves as the game unfolds. Mastery comes from predicting how rules will change and weaving your placements to maximize points while limiting your opponent’s options.
