Dodge the Bullets: Three Threat Types

• Red bullets — Magic Arts: These can be blocked with Lubelia’s Magic Power Shield. Blocking consumes Magic Power, so protect your MP and avoid letting it drop to zero.
• Yellow bullets — Physical Attacks: Body slams and weapon strikes that deal heavy harm if they connect. These cannot be blocked by the shield—dodge them instead.
• Blue bullets — Sorcery: Extremely dangerous and powerful. They’re too strong to block with the shield, and only a few enemies can unleash them, so watch for their timing—especially as enemies near defeat.

Magic Power, Shields, and Recovery

Lubelia’s attacks evolve with her Magic Power. As long as Magic Power remains, she can block red bullets with her shield. Blocking drains MP, so manage it carefully. Magic Power slowly replenishes through items or by pausing during a short rest between encounters.

Energy Drain and Risk

Take damage while your Magic Power is depleted, and Energy Drain kicks in. This drains your earned EXP and can cause Lubelia’s level to fall, so maintaining MP and avoiding unnecessary hits is crucial to stay on course.

Companion Kita

Your yellow bird companion Kita is a reliable ally. Chatting with Kita adds charm to the journey, and having Kita by your side keeps the adventure from feeling lonely as you confront dangers together.

Character Customization

At the start, you assign bonus points to Lubelia’s four parameters to gain an early advantage and tailor your playstyle. This choice shapes how you approach battles, how you balance offense and defense, and how you survive the many stages ahead.
