C.H.I.M.P. description

C.H.I.M.P.

In a hostile journey through the vacuum of space, C.H.I.M.P. is a cooperative multiplayer experience where control of a single spaceship is shared among the crew. Each player takes a dedicated role, and the entire ship depends on coordinated teamwork. Typical duties include piloting the ship, operating and coordinating weapons, and handling reloading and system management. The mission asks you to reach a distant destination, but your success hinges on working as a unit rather than as isolated individuals.

Survival in this environment is a test of communication, timing, and mutual support. The crew must read threats, share information, and synchronize every action to keep the vessel alive. A single reckless move can jeopardize the entire team, so the balance between offense, defense, and navigation must be maintained at all times. For example, reloading a weapon on its own has little effect unless teammates line up the shot and engage the target together. The rhythm of piloting, firing, and reloading becomes a single, shared tempo.

The core aim is to advance along a route by reaching safe zones where you can gather essential resources. Safe zones provide supplies such as food and fuel needed for the next leg of the journey, sustaining the crew and the ship as you push toward the final destination. Resource management is a constant consideration: every choice affects your ability to move, fight, and survive in the next segment of the voyage.

Roles and responsibilities matter, but so does adaptation. Situations can change in an instant, demanding flexible coordination and quick decision-making. There are moments when the crew may choose to bend the usual procedures to keep moving forward, but such decisions require trust and collective judgment. The strength of C.H.I.M.P. lies in turning individual skills into a cohesive operation under pressure.

Core roles include, but are not limited to:

  • Pilot: steer the ship, navigate hazards, and maintain course
  • Gunner: aim and engage threats with precision
  • Reload/Systems: manage ammunition, reload cycles, and ship systems

Are you ready to step into the cockpit, coordinate with your crew, and guide the ship to safety? Will your team stay united long enough to reach the final destination and secure the resources you need for the next leap?
