SnatchDeck description

SnatchDeck

Steal, Adapt, Survive! SnatchDeck is a deck-builder roguelike where your power can be ripped away in a second. Instead of buying cards from a shop, you snatch them straight out of the decks of your enemies. But beware: enemies can steal cards from you as well. You won't just upgrade your deck—you'll have to keep it from being destroyed. Keep foes alive longer to take their cards. In SnatchDeck every encounter becomes a risky dance of reward and retreat.

How it plays

  • Easy to learn, hard to master. Each turn you pick one of three cards to play. The first player to exhaust their deck loses the match, so you must balance speed with sustainability.
  • Casual and strategic vibes. Simple decisions per turn stack up into long-term plans for controlling the flow of your deck and denying your opponent the cards they need.
  • Steal-focused card variety. Cards deal damage, buff allies, trigger powerful effects, and most importantly, steal from opponents. There isn’t a single “best” card—tailor your deck to counter each foe and each boss.
  • Deck survival as a core goal. Protect your own deck while you strip cards from enemies, turning their losses into your gains.
  • Dynamic risk and reward. Your choices shape the pace of the run: push for fast kills to deny counterplay, or play the long game to harvest more cards.

Boss cards and encounters

Every ten rounds you face a powered-up boss who brings one elusive boss card. Boss cards feature wild effects that can flip the game in an instant. The only way to obtain a boss card is to steal it directly from the boss. If you kill the boss without scoring their boss card, it’s gone forever. But linger too long and you’ll meet your demise.

Progression, quests, and cosmetics

  • Quests. Complete procedurally generated quests to earn gems. These optional challenges add variety and push you toward tougher runs.
  • Gems for cosmetics. Earn gems from quests and spend them to customize the look of your deck and avatar.
  • Achievements. Handcrafted challenges test your mastery across different playstyles and strategies.

SnatchDeck emphasizes a core loop where every opponent is a test of risk versus reward. You’ll adapt on the fly, snatch and defend, and race against the clock as you chase elusive boss cards. Each run, each steal, and each decision matters—and no two decks play the same.
