Summon Says

Summon Says is a chaotic online co‑op ritual game for 1–4 players. You and your friends try to resurrect your grandfather so he can finally reveal where he hid the treasure. But things go wrong in spectacular fashion, and you get trapped in a looping sequence of summoning rituals. You’ll chant through your microphones, scramble to fix the mistake, and deal with whatever else you’ve dragged into the house.

The core mechanics start with a simple goal: bring Grandpa back. Before the ritual begins, you must place ritual objects correctly, light the candles, and draw the symbols with precision. Once the ritual begins, there’s no pause. It’s all rhythm, pitch, and timing—chant after chant, note after note, until the spell either succeeds or spirals out of control.

Your voice is the engine. The game listens to your voice as the primary input: pitch (sing too high, too low, or perfectly in tune), intensity (whisper, chant, shout, or scream), and the words themselves (spoken in the right order and at the right moment). Some rituals crave harmony and coordination, others feed on chaos. The moment someone panics, the ritual can crumble, or worse—take an unexpected turn.

Work together, or risk disaster. You cannot summon alone. Every ritual requires synchronized action: you must align pitch with your teammates, adjust volume in unison, and react quickly when the ritual shifts mid‑chant. One player slipping up can break the spell; one loud shout might summon something entirely different. Cooperation is the difference between success and a new, unpredictable outcome.

The looped structure means mistakes aren’t just failed attempts—they reshape the ritual itself. You’ll relive the same moment, trying to correct your setup while new hazards and echoes of your actions appear. It’s equal parts tense, funny, and unnerving as you race against time, mischief, and the unknown.
