Three Unique Classes

• Rogue — navigate darkness with agility and precision, striking where it hurts the most.
• Cultivator — command the power of the soul; project a spirit form to explore. Your soul has its own attributes and can act independently, letting you switch control between body and soul for a new tactical dimension.
• Mask Master — collect monster masks and recruit dungeon creatures to fight alongside you. Six recruitment conditions—Intimidate, Charm, Guilt, Submit, Inspire, Friendly—define how bonds with monsters are forged.

D20 Combat System

Experience a complete D&D–style dice system: D20 attack rolls, armor class, critical hits, advantage and disadvantage, and finesse weapons. Every attack is a roll of the dice, and every piece of equipment shapes your destiny. With more than 74 weapons and 63 pieces of armor, your loadout matters as much as your wit.

Adventure, Loot & Mystery

The Unknown Is the Adventure: at the start of each run, potion, scroll, and wand appearances are shuffled. Identification keeps every encounter suspenseful—is that ruby liquid a potion or poison? Beware cursed gear that cannot be removed once worn. Nascentiar features 117 monsters, each with unique abilities. Mimics masquerade as treasure, ghosts haunt unseen, vampires drain your maximum HP, and imps steal your gold and vanish.

Dungeon Depth & Challenge

The dungeon unfolds in procedurally generated, multi-floor layouts with classic roguelike depth. Manage hunger and provisions as you explore. Seven deadly trap types threaten every ascent, including trapdoors that plunge you to the next floor. Expect 52 consumables—potions, scrolls, and wands—each with unique effects, plus 25+ status effects such as haste, invisibility, confusion, and entanglement that weave through every engagement.

Progression & Risk

Experience drains and de-leveling lurk in the shadows—some monsters can steal your levels, forcing you to adapt or lose ground. Nascentiar combines strategic planning, risk management, and tactical execution to offer a deeply replayable dungeon-crawler experience where every run feels meaningful and dangerous.
