Lyden Lys is a knowledge-driven metroidvania where a world of secrets and intimate stories unfolds around a fading homeland. You are a descendant of a once-flourishing people, and as the borders of their memory grow thin, you must uncover the truth about the past, the world, and yourself.

Engage the world through musical combinations. Your melodies become keys that reveal paths, awaken ancient mechanisms, or alter your surroundings. To shape your journey, you can discover new ideas from others or figure them out through trial and sound.

Three instrument modules redefine your toolkit: the first is the one you start with, the second will turn everything upside down, and the third will let you play music without limits. Mastering them lets you bend the landscape to your will and reach places you could not access by force alone.

Exploration is non-linear: with the right melody you can reach the final locations from the very start, guiding your route by harmony rather than by a fixed map. Wander through the homeland you do not remember and piece together what happened, who you were, and what your people left behind.
