Sunrise is a 2D platformer hack-and-slash set in the world of Solaris. A mysterious day begins when the missing mayor returns with a violent plan and a powerful magic device capable of erasing anything from existence. He targets the heart of the world—the device powering the artificial sun—throwing light into shadow. Your quest is to track down the scattered fragments, piece them back together, and stop the mayor before the light dies forever.

Visuals and accessibility

Sunrise presents bright, cartoonish visuals that keep the mood upbeat while allowing moments of darker imagery in Story Mode cutscenes. Blood is depicted as oil, a stylistic choice tied to robotic lore. The game features lots of flashing lights, which can be toggled for players who prefer a calmer experience.
